Job Description – Technician / Rigger
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge of RIL automation tools such as JPW.
Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance (PM/CM) of IBS, Small Cells, Wi-Fi, UBR, and L2 Switch equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot Battery, SMPS, Electrical Panels, Earthing & Power Systems, including energy meter readings and alarm systems.
Inspect Power/CIPRI cables, GPS connectors, antennas, and LOS alignment.
Perform SMPS maintenance, including rectifier cleaning, LVD/BLVD setting checks, NOC parameter checks, and hardware/module replacement.
Conduct battery discharge tests, voltage/temperature checks, and earthing/power connection inspections.
Perform earth pit measurements, neutral-to-earth voltage checks, and earthing bonding inspections.
Ensure overall site hygiene and equipment condition.
Reset or replace faulty hardware/cards with healthy spares at site.
Collect faulty modules from sites and return them to CMP, along with providing required data for SAP consumption booking.
Perform other maintenance activities as instructed by the NOC team.
Ability to climb mobile towers is required.
Tower climbing training will be provided before joining.
